Quarter midget racing is one of the premier youth motorsports development series, primarily competed on asphalt tracks with select opportunities on dirt surfaces, designed to teach young drivers racecraft, discipline, and competitive fundamentals in a safe, structured environment. Clive Baker competes in quarter midget racing with a focus on driver development, consistency, and sportsmanship, with his home track being the North Carolina Quarter Midget Association (NCQMA) in Salisbury, North Carolina. In addition to local competition, Clive travels regionally to race in Georgia and Alabama, gaining experience on a variety of tracks and against a broader field of competitors, while also representing partners across multiple states. Clive has further expanded his racing experience by competing in NASCAR Youth Series national races, providing exposure at a national level and valuable experience within a highly competitive youth motorsports environment.

Wing kart racing is a youth motorsports division primarily competed on dirt tracks, emphasizing car control, throttle management, and adaptability across changing track conditions. Clive Baker competes in wing kart racing with a focus on developing dirt racing fundamentals, race awareness, and confidence in high-grip and slick track environments. His home tracks for wing kart competition are Millbridge Speedway in Salisbury, North Carolina, and Horsepower Go Kart Track in Morganton, North Carolina, both of which are well-known for competitive youth racing and strong regional participation. Racing at these facilities allows Clive to gain consistent seat time on dirt while competing against top youth drivers from across the region, further supporting his development as a versatile and well-rounded young racer.

Champ kart racing is a youth motorsports division primarily competed on dirt tracks, offering increased versatility across a wide range of track sizes and configurations, which helps young drivers develop adaptability, race awareness, and advanced car control. Clive Baker competes in champ kart racing with a focus on refining dirt racing fundamentals while gaining experience across multiple competitive environments. His home track for champ kart competition is Coleridge Speedway, and he has also traveled to race at B&B Kartway, Tri-County Speedway, Woodleaf Speedway, Margarettsville Speedway, and Horsepower Go Kart Track. In addition to individual events, Clive competed in a Junior Points Series, a traveling championship that spanned four different tracks, providing valuable experience in adapting to new facilities, track conditions, and competitive fields while representing partners across multiple venues.
